CHE Furnaces was asked to design and manufacture a Billet Preheat Conveyor Furnace for the aerospace industry, to be used to manufacture forged parts from aluminum. This system was designed to provide an easy loading platform pre heat system for forged parts. The furnace featured gas fired burners, electric driven dual bi-directional conveyor belts, pneumatic doors with an operating temperature range of 800 to 950°F. The entire system was designed, fabricated, and assembled on site at our Anaheim, CA facility by AWS certified welders.

The systems meet industry standards for aerospace forge equipment. Comprehensive in process temperature uniformity survey was conducted to ensure quality and integrity. The furnace operates within 25 degrees survey range at all temperature ranges.
