CHE Furnaces was asked to design and manufacture a Car Bottom Furnace for the forge industry, to be used to manufacture forged parts from steel. This system was designed to provide an easy loading platform heat treatment system for cast forged parts. The furnace featured gas fired burners, circulation fan, electric driven car bottom, cast stainless grid for parts with an operating temperature range of 1400 to 1800 °F. The entire system was designed, fabricated, and assembled on site at our Anaheim, CA facility by AWS certified welders.

The system meets industry standards for forge equipment. Comprehensive in process temperature uniformity survey was conducted to ensure quality and integrity. The furnace operates within 25 degrees survey range at all temperature ranges.
