Car Bottom Furnaces

CHE Furnaces was asked to design and manufacture 2 Car Bottom Furnaces for the forge industry, to be used to manufacture forged parts from steel. This system was designed to provide an easy loading platform heat treatment system for cast forged parts. The furnaces featured gas fired burners, electric driven car bottom, cast stainless grid for parts with an operating temperature range of 1400 to 1800 °F. The entire systems were designed, fabricated, and assembled on site at our Anaheim, CA facility by AWS certified welders.
The systems meet industry standards for forge equipment. Comprehensive in process temperature uniformity survey was conducted to ensure quality and integrity. The furnaces operate within 25 degrees survey range at all temperature ranges.
